Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

Eligible employees of covered employers can take up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per year for specified family/medical reasons. Eligibility: 12 months of employment, 1,250 hours worked, at a worksite with 50+ employees within 75 miles.
